1 Airlifted, Firefighter Injured In Gloucester County Barn Fire (Photos)

The owner of a house and barn that caught fire was flown to a hospital for smoke inhalation in rural Gloucester County Wednesday morning, first responders said.

The fire started just after 7 a.m. in the 200 block of South Tuckahoe Road in Monroe Township, Monroe Township Emergency Medical Services BLS 29-9 said on Facebook.

One patient was treated by Gloucester County EMS and flown to the local burn center, while a firefighter was treated for minor injury and released on scene, they said. 

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze, and the victim’s condition was unknown.
